Application:
The engineers at a local aerospace manufacturer were looking to fabricate a stylish Corian® Support Handle to be used on private aircraft. This handle needed to be both functional for support and beautiful as well. We worked with the engineers to develop this handle that met all of their design requirements. We first machine the layers of Corian® to the profile shape. The pieces are then glued and clamped together and allowed to cure. They are then machine from both top and bottom into the desired shape, finish sanded, and mounting hardware is installed.
