Coinstar contacted us because they were searching for a material for the critical Worksurface of their coin change machines. This is the surface where the customer deposits their change into the machine, which is a high-wear area. We recommended utilizing Corian® for this application for several reasons. Corian® is made from a very durable material capable of taking a lot of abuse. Corian® is easily machined, fabricated, and installed. Corian® has more than 100 colors to choose from for aesthetic purposes.
